HOW YOUR TRAINING WORKS

Your training at fitbox combines theory and practice in a smart way.

Your training at fitbox combines theory and practice. You will work with customers in the studio and put your knowledge directly into practice. In three years, you will become an EMS fitness professional - with licenses, team spirit and the best chances of being taken on.

Dual training

You combine theory at the training institute with practical experience in the fitbox studio - perfect for real learning with prospects.

Graduation

After 36 months, you will receive a recognized vocational qualification - with an additional examination to become a sports and fitness specialist (IHK) if desired.

Requirements

You don't need a high school diploma to get started - just motivation, enthusiasm for fitness and a desire to work with people.

Induction

Right from the start, you will be intensively trained and familiarized with the EMS technology and the training principles at fitbox.

Acquiring licenses

During your training, you will collect important licenses, e.g. as a personal trainer, group trainer or nutrition expert.

Course content

You can expect exciting content such as training theory, medicine, marketing, business administration and customer communication - practical and varied.

Costs

We cover all the training costs for you - so that you can concentrate fully on your path.

Remuneration

How exactly does the training at fitbox work?

Your training at fitbox has a dual structure: You alternate between theoretical phases at the training institute and practical work in the studio. This allows you to apply your knowledge directly and learn with real customers.

What requirements do I need to meet?

Motivation, an interest in fitness and a desire to work in a team are all you need. If you like working with people, you've come to the right place.

How long does the training take?

The training usually lasts 36 months. During this time, you will be trained step by step to become an EMS fitness expert.

How much will I earn during my training at fitbox?

You will receive a monthly salary for the entire duration of your apprenticeship. Depending on your level of responsibility and commitment, you can also earn bonuses and commission.

What qualifications will I receive at the end?

You will receive a state-recognized qualification as a sports and health trainer/sports and fitness specialist. Optionally, you can also take the IHK examination.

Do I need a high school diploma for the apprenticeship?

No, a high school diploma is not a requirement. You can start with an intermediate school-leaving certificate or a comparable level of education.

What will the training cost me?

There are no training costs for you. As your employer, we will pay all fees for the school-based part of the course.

Where do the theory phases take place?

You will complete the theoretical phases at one of our partner training institutes, e.g. with the IST University of Applied Sciences - one of the leading institutes in the fitness sector.

Which licenses do I acquire during the training?

You can acquire licenses as a personal trainer, group trainer, back trainer or nutrition trainer - directly through the training institute.

What does my day-to-day work in the studio look like?

You will look after customers, provide support during EMS training sessions, take on organizational tasks and learn everything you need to know for successful studio work - accompanied by your team, of course.

Is there an induction at the beginning?

Yes, you will receive intensive training including a basic license and a certificate of proficiency for EMS - so you are well prepared.

What are my chances of being taken on after my apprenticeship?

Very good! Many of our trainees stay with us - whether as trainers, studio managers or even on the way to opening their own studio.

Can I apply without fitness experience?

Yes, you don't need any previous knowledge - we'll teach you everything you need to get started.

What is the difference between dual training and dual studies?

The apprenticeship is more practice-oriented and lasts three years. The dual study program also gives you an academic degree - both are possible at fitbox.

What makes training at fitbox special?

fitbox is represented throughout Germany - we will check with you which location is ideal for your training.
